About Christopher Sprout
Christopher Sprout is a dentist in Golden, Colorado, who has made community service a sustained part of his professional life.
Over more than 400 hours of volunteer work in the Denver area, he has contributed to four programs: the MDDS Smile Again program, the AACD Give Back a Smile program, the Denver Rescue Mission, and the Mt. St. Vincent Home for children.
He earned his dental degree at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and completed a fellowship in implant dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia. He was born and raised in Southeast Colorado and studied at the University of Denver. His clinical work covers cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, restorative care, orofacial pain, and the treatment of temporomandibular disorders.
He has completed thousands of hours of hands-on and classroom continuing education, holds Fellow status in the Academy of General Dentistry and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and is a founding member of the Colorado Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
He believes good care starts with listening — in practice and in the programs he has supported across his career.
Community Programs
MDDS Smile Again
Organized by the Metropolitan Denver Dental Foundation, Smile Again provides cost-free restorative dental care to survivors of domestic abuse across the Denver metro area. More than 175 dentists have participated, donating over $900,000 in care to men, women, and children who experienced dental trauma or neglect as a result of abuse.
AACD Give Back a Smile
Run by the AACD Charitable Foundation, Give Back a Smile connects survivors of intimate partner and sexual violence with cosmetic dentists nationwide who donate their time and services. The program has delivered more than $16 million in care to over 1,700 survivors across all 50 states.
Denver Rescue Mission
Founded in 1892, the Denver Rescue Mission is the oldest full-service charitable organization in the Rocky Mountain region. It serves thousands of people annually through emergency shelter, meals, health services, and longer-term recovery programs. Dr. Sprout has volunteered with the Mission as part of his broader commitment to reaching people who cannot easily access private dental care.
Mount Saint Vincent
Founded in 1883, Mount Saint Vincent provides foster care, early childhood education, and pediatric behavioral health services for children in the Denver area. Dr. Sprout has volunteered with the organization to extend dental care access to children in foster and behavioral health programs who frequently arrive with unmet oral health needs.
